With Vidyabase, you can read anywhere—no internet needed. A simple, reliable way to read and explore structured text collections across all your devices.

Vidyabase is designed to work across platforms—Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, and macOS. The Android version is available now, with more platforms on the way.
Vidyabase uses its own .vidya format, a compact package that contains everything: books, transcripts, letters, and other texts. Add a package once and access it offline whenever you need.
Switching between library packages is instant, making it easy to keep multiple collections available.
Easy to use search. Enjoy full-text search across the entire library package, letting you quickly find whatever you need.
Choose between light and dark themes for comfortable reading.
Vidyabase was originally designed to support the structure of Srila Prabhupada’s books—verse, word-for-word, translation, and purport—but the system is flexible enough for any style of publication.
Publishers can package their content into .vidya files and distribute them directly to readers. Basic tools for building packages are available in our GitHub repository. A user-friendly builder/editor app is planned, making it possible to compile packages without technical expertise.
